Entry Requirements

 

General Admission Requirements

At SAIAST, we welcome students who are passionate about building a career in aviation, travel, and related industries. To ensure that all students are prepared for successful learning, applicants must meet the following minimum admission requirements:

Academic Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of five (5) O-Level credits or better, including English Language, obtained from a recognised Grade 12 certificate.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, as all training materials and aviation-related instruction are conducted in English.
Age Requirement
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of admission.
Required Documents for Application

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. Grade 12 Certificate/Results Statement
  2. Copy of National Registration Card (NRC)
  3. Passport-size photograph
  4. Proof of payment of the application fee

Course-Specific Requirements

Cabin Crew Training

In addition to the general admission requirements, applicants interested in Cabin Crew Training must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) O-Level credits or better, including English
  • Must have a minimum height of 1.6 metres (1.60m)
  • Must have good communication skills and a professional appearance
  • Must meet aviation health and safety standards
Medical Considerations:

Applicants should note that certain health conditions may affect eligibility for Cabin Crew training and future aviation duties. These include:

  • Heart disease
  • Asthma
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Low or high blood pressure
  • Current pregnancy

Applicants may be required to undergo relevant medical assessments where necessary.

  • Cargo Introductory Course

must meet the general admission requirements:
