How to Apply to SAIAST

Starting your aviation career with SAIAST is simple. Follow the steps below to complete your online application successfully.

Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form

Click on the Apply Now button on the home page to access the SAIAST online application portal.

Complete all required sections of the application form, including:

  • Personal Details

  • Previous School Information

  • Selected Course/Programme

  • Preferred Intake

  • Year of Study

  • Mode of Study (Full-Time or Distance Learning)

After completing all required fields, review your information carefully and click Submit.

 
Step 2: Save Your Login Credentials

Once your application has been submitted, your Student Login Credentials will be displayed on the screen.

Please ensure that you save these details, as they will be required to access your student portal and complete the remaining application steps.

 
Step 3: Access Your Student Portal

Click on the “Log Into Portal” button and enter your login credentials.

Your student portal will allow you to complete your application process and manage your student information.

 

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

To activate your application, you are required to pay the non-refundable application fee of K300.00.

Payment can be made through the available Mobile Money platforms:

  • MTN Mobile Money

  • Airtel Money

  • Zamtel Kwacha

Payment Process:

  1. Select the payment option within your student portal.

  2. Enter your preferred Mobile Money number.

  3. A payment prompt will be sent to your phone.

  4. Enter your Mobile Money PIN to authorise the transaction.

Please Note: Your application will not proceed until the application fee payment has been successfully completed.

 

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

After your payment has been confirmed:

  1. Log into your student portal.

  2. Navigate to the Documents section.

  3. Upload the required documents in the order below:

  4. Grade 12 Results/Certificate

  5. National Registration Card (NRC)

  6. Passport-size Photograph

  7. Proof of Payment for the K300 Application Fee

Application Completion

Your application will be considered complete once all required documents have been successfully uploaded.

The SAIAST Admissions Office will review your application, and you will be contacted regarding the outcome of your application and the next steps.
