About SAIAST
The Southern Africa Institute of Aviation Science and Technology (SAIAST) is a leading aviation training institution in Zambia, dedicated to developing world-class aviation professionals through quality, industry-driven education.
Founded in 2016, SAIAST aims to bridge Africa’s aviation skills gap by offering accessible, practical, and internationally recognized training. The institution has grown into a regional centre for aviation, airport operations, travel, tourism, hospitality, and corporate capacity building.
SAIAST is a ZCAA Approved Training Organisation (ATO) for Cabin Crew training, an ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme Member, an IATA Authorized Training Center (ATC), and a TAVETA Accredited institution. These recognitions ensure that our programmes meet global aviation standards.
Through strong partnerships with aviation authorities, airlines, airports, and industry stakeholders, we combine academic excellence with practical experience to prepare graduates for successful careers. We also provide specialized corporate training across Africa, supporting aviation safety, security, and operational excellence.
